With the trailing edge angle of the Ranger fins, it's hard to line up the fin flush with the end of the body tube.
Here I'm using the same fin marking wrap as a height guide to be sure the front edge of the fins are all at the same height.
Before applying glue fillets, erase the extended pencil lines at the front edge of the fins.
Once there is a glue fillet over them, they are there for good and might show through a white undercoat.
