Semroc Defender Build Part 4 Engine Tube Gluing
The three engine mount tubes were set side by side and flush at the bottom. From the top, you can see the three tubes are slightly different lengths. They'll have to be the same length for the centering ring to be glued on top.
The two taller tubes were sanded down with 220 grit on a block.
Before gluing, the contact points were marked while the tubes were held together by the ST-16 tube.
These tick marks were extended down the lengths of all the tubes with an aluminum angle and pencil. Glue will be applied down these pencil lines.
Before gluing, be sure all three engine blocks are towards the rear.
All three tubes were glued then held together with the ST-16 tubes until dry.
