Do the fins get skinned where the cutouts are?
ReplyDeleteOh i get it.....Laminate?
ReplyDeleteThey are a three ply laminate.
ReplyDeleteStay tuned, the whole lamination thing gets interesting!
I wonder who many folks have been tempted to add a dummy "launch lug" (an appropriately-sized body tube as a dummy launch lug, sized so that it proportionally matches the regular launch lug of the original Mosquito), into which the actual launch lugs are placed.
ReplyDeleteHi Naoto,
ReplyDeleteIt could certainly be done. That might almost look better than the two separate pieces of 1/4" diameter lugs.
To look like the Mini you'd have to glue the bigger lug in a fin fillet area.
