There is four laser cut sheets of 1/16" balsa.
This shows the front and back of one sheet.
The front of the intake is open and it would be hard to fill the balsa after assembly. I decided to fill the grain on the inside front of the intakes before gluing it all together.
In the picture the areas to be filled are shaded with pencil.
I'll also be filling the curved areas under the front of the intake.
The penciled areas were carefully brushed with CWF, Try to keep the filler in the pencil shaded areas.
The pieces were sanded smooth, while still attached to the master sheet.
Chances are Part Q will break when trying to work the pieces together.
After assembling the first intake, some CA was added to the thin waist on the other three remaining Part Qs.
On the sheet I drew some arcs around the small tabs on Parts P and Q. These tabs are very small and the notches they fit into will require some filling.
The filled interior sides were marked with an "I".
The outside sides were marked with an "O".
