The nose cone got the half/half treatment like the body did.
Here I'm burnishing down the Scotch tape mask with a Q-tip before spraying the lower half grey.
The underside got shot with a lighter grey than what was used on the rear of the body tube.

The nose cone got the half/half treatment like the body did.
