This time to form the shrouds, I used a smaller sharpened dowel.
You'll just have to try this method to see how well it works. These engine bells are tiny! I haven't found a better way to roll and curve them.
After gluing and drying-
The tip of the same dowel was sanded to a less sharper angle for shroud rounding. Set the nozzle over the dowel, press the nozzle against it's sides and turn on the dowel. Don't press too hard, you could split it open at the glue tab.
This shows the difference between a dowel formed nozzle on the left, and a unformed nozzle on the right.
