Estes Asteroid Hunter #3224, Build, Part 5, Former Placement

The smaller "U" pieces are glued into the slots in the "N" piece. The sides of the U pieces don't quite touch the body tube.

The angle of the "O" pieces sit on the top of the U pieces. It reminds me of a little birdhouse. This smaller end is the front of the rocket.

I'd recommend marking the side stringer pieces, but don't use pen like I did, use pencil. Ink can bleed and show through your final sprayed paint.
I found these pieces and locations to be a little confusing so marking them can help you keep track of them.

The "M", "S" and "T" interior forms are slid on the tube from the rear.
You are not given any distances from the tube end for the locations of the formers. The notches in the stringers (this picture shows the "Y" stringer) help set the spacing of the M, WS and T formers.

TIP: Be sure the stringer is in a straight line. The picture on the left shows a crooked stringer set, on the right is a straight stringer.
If you glued a crooked stringer it will effect the fit of other pieces and card stock covering later on.
