I marked the yellow space tube at 5/16" from one end.
Instead of putting glue in the BT-5 motor mount tube and pushing the block into place with the yellow tube, I slid just the yellow tube in up to the 5/16" line. The tube was taped in place holding it inside the BT-5 engine mount tube.

The engine block was slid down from the top and onto the top of the yellow tube. A glue fillet was applied from the top side of the engine block with a rounded dowel.
By dry fitting then gluing from the top, I am taking no chances of the engine block freezing in the wrong place.
