Anybody notice anything wrong?
Post your answer in the "Comments" below.
(There's nothing wrong with TopRamen's build. It's something Estes didn't get right.)
TopRamen's model looks good in the blue. I don't think I'd paint anything this small the same color as grass.
Hi Chris,
ReplyDeleteI'm brand new to rocketry, but I've never seen a 1/4A3-2T engine. Seems that you're on about the text on the recommended engine being in error and should read 1/4A3-3T. Chances are, though, that I'm way off base.
Cheers
Matt D
Motor delays are wrong....2T should be 4T?
ReplyDeleteHey Anonymous,
ReplyDeleteYou got it right in your first comment! Estes doesn't make an 1/4A3-2t engine anymore. They make the 1/4A3-3t engine (three second delay) When the "T" engines came out in 1973 a 1/4A3-2t and 1/4A3-4t was produced.
Maybe Estes compromised with the 1/4A with a 3 second delay?
In your second comment - this little BT-5 model would be fine with a 1/2A3-4t engine also.
