Little Joe II Adhesive Tips?

Some builder's have had problems gluing together the different plastics in the new Estes Little Joe II kit.

  1. Hrm... didn't know about the wraps being ABS or somesuch (and not polystyrene as one might be apt to assume). Good to know beforehand, as it certainly affects what you'd want to use for adhesive as well as what to when painting.
    I guess if they wanted to torture us, they could've molded the parts in something like polypropylene.
    Speaking of items made of plastic... noticed that it's much harder nowadays to find plastic Easter eggs made of styrene.

      The Little Joe II instructions are vague about which brand plastic cement will work. I'm waiting for all this to be figured out before I build mine.
      Regarding plastic Easter eggs - All the eggs I saw this year had "vent" holes in them. Three holes in the top half.

      Delete
