These two separated vertical strips will have the USAF decal between them. I taped down another strip to the side for alignment.
All the strips running vertically down the BT-60 tube are long - for now.
Another scrap piece was wrapped around the top and bottom of the long vertical strips for trimming.
After cutting, they'll still be a little long on both ends. These ends will be covered up with the final horizontal wrap around stripes.
The ends are trimmed off with light razor blade cuts. Any cut will be covered up with the horizontal strips.
This is the bottom and top after trimming the verticals and applying the final horizontal stripes.
