BMS/Alway Saturn V Build, Part 4, Nozzle Shrouds

I formed the nozzle shrouds in the heel of my left hand using a tapered dowel.

The shroud is glued with the tab overlapping. That seam will be towards the center engine mount tube and not noticeable.

Be sure the seam is in line with the long side of the rectangular slot as shown in the directions.

Notice the fit of the nozzle ring. The notch on the inside of the ring centers over the overlap shroud seam.

Again, this is the top and bottom of two rings showing the differences in the width of the laser cut line. This angle cut could help with the fit over the tapered nozzle shroud.

If you can, rounding the outside of the ring does add to the finished look.
