Estes SR-71 Blackbird Build Part 15, Shroud Fills

On the front of both shrouds are cut out areas used to line them up down the drawn pencil lines.
On the right is the drawing of the bottom shroud with a larger rectangular cut out at the front. I can only assume this is to simulate the landing gear hatch.

At the front of the top shroud is a small cut out circle.
Looking at a picture there is a small square in about the same location as the one in the top shroud.
This small top circle was cut clean and round.
The bottom rectangular cut out wasn't square, the corners weren't 90 degrees.

I decided to fill the bottom rectangle. There was no way to cut the rectangle more square once the shroud was glued down.

The excess sides of the the die cut shroud were saved.
A piece of the shroud stock was cut to size.

Here's the test fit of the rectangle set into the recess.
