Estes SR-71 Blackbird Build Part 17, Engine and Outer Wing Gluing

In Step 13 the engine assemblies were glued on the outer edge of the wing.

I didn't use the wing jigs here.
They are supposed to go under the outer wings for support when gluing.
I set them under the outer wings for a test but the bottom surface of the wings  were slightly higher than the top of the jigs!
Then I tried some heavy card stock shims but that didn't help either.

In the end, the alignment was done by eye.

Here's how the outer wing looks when glued up.

White glue fillets will follow then a fillet of Titebond M&TG.
