I finally picked up a copy of the 2011 Estes catalog and compared some prices with the 2010 catalog side-by-side.
Some interesting price reductions from last year:
Der Red Max has gone down in price by $4.00 to $16.99 retail
The Star Trooper has been reduced by $4.35 to $6.59 retail
The Interceptor E has gone down in price by $14.30 to $39.99 retail
The Executioner has been reduced by $15.30 to $39.99 retail
All in all, other kit prices stay the same or go up and down by $1.00.
3 and 4 packs of engines have gone up $.50 to $.70.

As mentioned in an earlier post HERE page 51 shows many reductions in parts and accessories from the 2010 catalog.
Other notable (and more reasonable) price reductions:
Porta Pad Launchers have been reduced from $31.79 (2010 price) to $14.99
Electron Beam Controllers have been reduced from $34.29 (2010 price) to $14.99
I could never figure out why anyone would buy just a Porta Pad launcher for $31.79 when you could buy the entire started kit with a launcher, controller and rocket for $29.99!
