Centuri Tour, 1968 American Rocketeer, Part 2

I guess the lab coats made everything look more scientific.

This last aerial picture is a little deceiving.
The Centuri operation didn't take up the entire building. I visited Centuri in 1972. Centuri rented area in an industrial park. Most of the operation was the lower left half of the picture.
The lower left corner were the offices and retail shop. Above that were the kit production, wood shop and electrical. As the Centuri expanded they took over more of the building space.

At one point on my tour, Larry Brown grabbed a bunch of body tubes from a box saying" I need these for a build." We walked outside to go to a different department. Stuck in the planter were some launch rods with newly sprayed models. He remarked: "One of the great things about painting rockets in Phoenix, they dry real fast!".
