According to the directions, the turbine exhaust and vernier nozzles are painted aluminum or silver.
After looking at pictures of the real Thor Agena B, these looked to be more of an aluminum color.
All were stuck down on a scrap piece of cardboard on tape with the sticky side up.
The cutout areas of the vernier housings are painted black. Rather than mask and spray, sometimes you can get away with simply blackening the area with a permanant marker.
I wouldn't recommend using a marker on an area larger than this. Larger covered areas will show streaks.
After the aluminum paint had dried on the nozzles, the interiors get painted black.
My Sharpie pen point wouldn't fit so I used a felt tip "brush". It's a flexible point that fit inside the small nozzle.
