AVI Nike Tomahawk Build Part 7 Adapter Shrouds

Before I get any further, here's what I'm trying to achieve:

From the top down:
1. The taller shroud (double thickness wall card stock) 20mm to 1.5" diameter.
2. Center is two mat board laminate center ring
3. Bottom shroud (again, double thickness wall card stock) from 1.5" to 35mm diameter.

I've never done a double thickness walled shroud before.
Those two center squares will be cut to a circle about 1 1/2" diameter to match the two shrouds.

The interior shroud was glued into the outside wall.
The double wall shroud is very strong.

The angle of the shroud and the "step" of the interior shroud fit the 20mm tube perfectly.

The bottom overhang was simply sanded flat and removed.
Doing the double thickness shroud also gives a wider gluing surface edge.

The narrower lower shroud needed some trimming of the inside "step".
The angle of this shroud isn't as steep as the longer upper shroud.

The inside and outside shrouds were dry stacked and set over the 35mm tube.
You can see the edge of the interior shroud over the top of the tube. That edge will have to be trimmed.

Double check to be sure the shrouds are centered before marking.
A pencil line was drawn around the interior shroud that was above the top of the tube.

The shrouds were separated and the inside shroud trimmed on the pencil line.
(I should have cut it just below the pencil line.)
