Midget Clone Build Part 18 Fin Trim Colors

It was easier to place the piece using a knife blade underneath  it.
With the blade under the side of the piece I could see the spacing around the leading and outside edges.

Even using the templates there was some trimming to be done.

The black piece still has the backing on it when it was marked with a pencil.
It was trimmed on this new line then placed.

For placement of the black, the blade was set underneath the same way as on the orange piece.
Again this lets you see the spacing around the outside and trailing edge.

Earlier I picked out this Rustoleum 2X orange paint.
It's almost a perfect match to the Monokote trim orange.

Just the nose cone will be painted orange.
