Midget Clone Build Part 17 Fin Trim Colors

When applying trim Monokote the underlying surface must be clean and smooth.
I found a few paint bumps and sanded them down before applying the trim pieces.
Sand just the raised paint and not much more around it. You don't want to dull larger area of the gloss finish.

The fins were traced onto card stock to make a template for cutting out the Monokote.

After you are satisfied with the look and shapes, cut out the individual pieces and set them on the Monokote for cutting.
Use a straightedge and new razor blade.

Note on the black piece I wrote "REAR BLACK". It helps to write the location names on the templates.
These pieces are all too close to the same shape and are easy to mix up.
