The fin pods are glued together.
There are a lot of nose cones in this kit, almost like opening up the old Estes Mars Snooper.
The assemblies were hit with CWF and sanded smooth.
The body tubes got a little roughed up during the sanding.
I applied a coat of medium CA glue with a Q-tip.
This hardens up the raised tube fibers and they are easily sanded smooth with 440 grit.
Later on, after the model gets a coat of primer/filler, you won't even see the rough tube or the nose cone/body tube joints.
