Quest Magnum Sport Loader #3012 Build, Part 18, Payload Section Decal

The main body still needs some wet sanding and another coat of orange, so on to the payload section.

The decals are old school, and have a clear outline overcoat. Look close at the top of the stripes and you can see the edge of the clear.
When cutting these out you don't have to worry about a border.

The decals are thin. The first wrap tore a little too easily in two places.
Before I lay down a decal I always rub water on the tube and leave it wet. I was able to slide everything together and the tear isn't visible.
The inset picture shows the ends of the decal. It barely overlaps where it meets up.

When all is said and done, this is a great looking payload section.
The Quest website says:
"Large payload bay can carry two eggs or any other payload you have in mind."
I'll be flying it with an altimeter.
