Quest Magnum Sport Loader #3012 Build, Part 6, Parachute

The 14e" Quest parachutes are cut to size. On both of my chutes, the six-sided hexagon cut wasn't centered.
The shroud line holes are pre-punched but the punch is too far from the edge of the parachute.

Here I've stuck one of the reinforcement squares over the pre-punched hole. There is a distance from the hole to the edge of the chute.

To get the shroud line tie closer to the edge I first cut off the corner to the flat outside edge of the reinforcement square.

Then the extra border is cut off connecting the line between the back of the two squares.

The Quest shroud lines are very strong but the ends unravel when tying a knot.

Run a little glue down about 1/2" from the end and let dry before tying.
Another thing about the Quest lines, the knots tend to untie themselves when tying a square knot.
I ended up tying a square knot and added another single overhand knot. Use long tweezers to make the tying easier.

After the knot is tied, the stiff glued end will cut off cleanly.
