All I Need . . .

I know . . . more on the build pile.
Sprint XL for $5.99? A great price and a blog build.
The Mini Max is a build, parts and maybe turn one into a Mini Goblin.
I have one Skydart already in the bag, a second was needed to do two a blog build.

I wouldn't normally buy a PSII but free shipping kicks in when your order total is over $50! Rather than spend $10 for shipping, I added the Ventris for $18.99 putting me just over $50. So in a sense, (rocketeer thinking here) I got the Ventris for only $8.99!
Yep, that's the justification I'm going with.

I would have put the order in last night but the Mini Max was showing "Out of Stock". On these clearance sales the out of stock items usually are back the next day - Sometimes.

  1. Yup - just what I needed too...another Ventris, another Photon Probe, another Mini Max, another Crayon..at least the Crayon can be launched right away! Unless I use it for parts to build...?

    1. Hi Openroad,
That turn to lock fin unit on the Crayons (if it is the same used on the BT-60 based Gemini Titan) is a great design. That's probably worth the clearance price alone.

  2. Those of you with a growing "to build" box(es), like me, may get a chuckle out of this I found on Amazon:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01EKP35PW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1&th=1. Check out the back. And on the front they could have added "Yes, dear...". Cheers

    1. Hi BAR,
Pretty funny! I want one for my ex-wife that says: "But it was on sale!"

  3. Among the nine rockets I picked up yesterday were the Mammoth and the Trajector. Mid power rockets that can be built in an afternoon are right up my alley. For $19.00, seeing what the Mammoth can take, motor wise, may be in my future.

  4. A Ventris, Chris? Does this mean you are going to enter the world of composite motors, even if they are single use? Heck, I would donate a load and loan you a case to see one of your rockets launching from the away pads on an E or F motor.

    1. Hey Metal,
I was flying Enerjet Composites and FSI F-100s before you were born! I do fly E9s at NEFAR. I have a Leviathan upstairs in the bag From a previous sale. Who knows if I'll ever get around to building it.

  5. Well, then, build one and let's get you back into AP. Then you can use the away pads for more than looking at when you pick up you LPR rockets. My name is Steve, and I'm an enabler.
