Some instructions tell you to extend the fin marking lines downthe entire length of the body tube.
I used the root edge of the fin as a guide for how long to make the line.
I'll make the line a little longer than the root edge length.
The trailing edge of these fins are flush with the end of the main body tube.
For easier postitioning, continue the fin line all the way under the end of the tube.
So far, you've got a fin line slightly longer and right under the body tube edge.
With a fin glued flush with the end of the tube, you would be gluing the fin over the alignment line. You couldn't see the lower part of the line unless it is drawn under the edge of the tube.
