Quest Cobalt Clone Part 15 Fin Marking

Using the pencil line as a guide, lightly sand to rough up the surface for better glue adhesion.

Notice I left a little bit of the mark at the top to draw the line again.

Using that remaining tick mark and your aluminum angle, re-draw the line over the area you just roughed up.

The fins are glued in place on their alignment lines.

From the back end you can just see the alignment line where it was extended over the edge of the body tube. The fin is centered on that tic mark.

If you didn't have this mark over the back, you would be blindly setting the rear of the fin in place. As slippery as wet white glue is, it's easy to have it slide off the otherwise covered line.
