Dr. Zooch SLS Build Part 11 Feeder Line

One of the dowels is cut to 5" in length for the feeder line.
The picture shows the backside of the dowel. I sanded the back flat for a better fit against the body tube.

The instructions say you can cut away the corrugation to fit the front and rear of the the rounded dowel. I felt I'd get a cleaner fit by cutting a notch into the bottom of the dowels.

The back of the dowel was marked where it would come in contact with the corrugated wrap.

With a sharp knife a notch was cut into the dowel. The depth was the thickness of the corrugated wrap.

Here's the fit of the dowel over the wrap.

While you could cut away the wrap, it would be hard to cut the shape of the small rounded dowel tip.
