Dr. Zooch SLS Build Part 9 Wrap Prep

Looking close at the corrugate wraps, the edges were a little rough.

These are easy enough to trim with a knife and straightedge.

Any time you have a precut wrap, or if you are trimming them yourself, double check the width by matching up the ends.

As careful as I was cutting the wrap into two separate pieces, one side was wider than the other. It's good to double check before gluing on the tube. You don't want a wrap not matching up when it is glued around a tube.

The alignment line was drawn down the body tube.

While this is probably enough of a guideline, I like to add a horizontal line.
A pencil line was drawn along the edge of a straight piece of card stock wrapped around the tube.

This pencil line was for the wide wrap, placed 2" from the top of the tube.
No lines were needed for the thinner wraps, they would align with the ends of the body tube.
