Dr. Zooch SLS Build Part 6 Toenail Trimming

By leaving a little balsa on the side of the fairing piece, I was able to sand the root edge to the contour of a BT-50 tube.
Sanding against a BT-50 tube will get the contour closer to the curve of the small end of the boat tail shroud.
Just take off some balsa and get a rough fit for now. This inside curve will be better fit once the toenails are glued into the fairings and fine sanding in the next post.

This is three of the four "toenail" fairing support pieces being formed.

The lowest has been rough cut and sanded to a BT-50 tube.
The middle is trimmed.
The upper toenail is sanded to the outside line.
