Centuri V2 Kit #KS-19

The Centuri V2 kit was one I wanted, but never ordered.
It was a little larger than the Estes BT-55 model. The Centuri version was built around the ST-16 tube and stood 14.2" tall.

This picture is from the 1971 Centuri catalog.
It seems every manufacturer has had a V2 kit at one time.

From the JimZ's site: http://www.spacemodeling.org/JimZ/ks-19.htm
The fins on the Centuri version had raised panels. Not as many panels as the real V2, but it still gave it more of a scale look.

The panels (on the far right) were cut out on the outside lines.
Then, set on the fins and traced around with a pencil.

The panel piece was removed and cut into three pieces on the horizontal lines.
Those pieces were glued to the face of the fin, using the pencil outline for positioning.

I had thought about doing some panels, but on the real V2s the panels aren't raised.
In the pictures I've seen, the panels look to be more like rivet lines or ribs under the sheet metal surface.
