This is the filled nose cone mold seam after final sanding.
A bead of medium CA glue was set on the seam and sanded to surface.
After sanding the dried glue, what CA was left in the seam is a light gray color.
When clearing the plastic from the eyelet, take a few extra moments to get it right.
TIP: In the picture I'm cutting down and stopping at the point shown.
Stopping the cut here keeps the blade from cutting into the eyelet post.
Turn over the nose cone and finish the cut going the opposite way, joining the cuts in the center.
Don't cut into the eyelet side posts - you might lose a nose cone with a hard ejection.
