This had to be one of the worst body tubes I've seen in a while.
The lower seam is typical of a body tube seam where the Mylar "almost" meets.
That's usually the seam you'd fill with slightly thicker CWF.
Above that is the Kraft paper (brown paper) seam. The Kraft paper didn't butt up against the next wrap leaving a sizable gap under the clear Mylar over wrap.
The Mylar has sunk into this open area. I don't think primer would fill this one.
I don't recommend doing this in normal practice. It could weaken the tube.
I ran my knife down both sides of the wide seam and removed the Mylar overlay.
This wide gap will be filled with CWF and sanded smooth.
