BIG GIRTHA Build Parts Part 1

I've been building and flying rockets since 1969 and have never owned a Big Bertha or even a Baby Bertha.
Over the years I've accumulated spare parts - lots of spare parts.
It's time for a upgrade Big Bertha - a spare parts sorta clone!

That's a Quest PNC-40 nose cone, a great buy at 85 cents each! It's close to the Bertha nose shape. With two wraps of masking tape around the shoulder it fits that 18" Quest 40mm body tube. (Maybe that's why it's only 85 cents!)

Two 3" long ST-7 tubes are for the two engine cluster, they fit snugly into the 40mm tube. Note the motor mount tubes are 3" long. This is to accommodate the Odd'l Rockets XL EH eXtended Length Engine Hooks.

The centering rings are CR-716x2 from Semroc. They are meant for a two engine cluster mount in a ST-16. They'll fit the 40mm Quest tube with some careful sanding.

I haven't decided whether to go with two 1/8" lugs or a single 3/16" lug.
The piece of body tube sitting on the card stock are the parts for the baffle I made in earlier posts.

I pulled a fin pattern from an old rocket instruction website.
This BIG GIRTHA will be close, resembling the original Big Bertha. Nobody will notice the difference until the cluster is lit.
