ASP Jayhawk Build Part 6 Fin Gluing


Gluing the styrene fins on this model was different.

I held the fin in place with my left hand.

A toothpick was dipped in thin CA (super glue) and touched to the rear of the root edge. A small amount of the CA ran down the root edge.


With just the back end glued, I could still adjust the front of the fin to the pencil line on the other end.


Turning around the fin to the other side, another small drop of CA was set of the front leading edge.

(Note: The brown coupler is not glued in or even needed in the lower tube. It was not in the body tube for any reason.)
