Even though I cut the slots a little wider than the marking guide showed, I still had to open the slots up to allow for the fin to slide in.
I used my flat diamond file to slightly widen the slots.
I was also able to square up the ends a bit.
This shows a good fit of the fin in it's slot.
After the SRBs are glued in place, the joined stages will be white painted white.
The fins are painted black off the body, then glued into their slots giving a clean color separation without masking.
