In step 6, you cut one of the the couplers to 3/4" and 1/8" lengths.
The 3/4" length joins the two body tubes together. The 1/8" length is the engine block.
The supplied Kevlar is very long. I cut it down to 7 1/2". This will give about 4" separation between the two sections during recovery.
The Kevlar is tied around the larger piece of split shot weight.
It sits right on the top of the coupler when inside the upper section of the body.
Push the coupler and Kevlar tied weight up from the bottom of the short body tube.
Push the nose cone into the open end. The shoulder rests against the split shot. The nose cone is remover and the shot and couple is glued into place.
After the glue dries, the smaller split shot is pressed into place through the coupler (up and against the larger split shot) and glued.
