In the instructions, you have the option to make a small camera pod blister.
It's a tiny egg shaped bump glued to the upper part of the resin cast nose cone. The finished size is 1/8" w X 3/16" L.
The instructions suggest using balsa, but I wanted to use something with less wood grain. A 1/8" dowel would work just fine.
First I removed almost half of the dowel for a length of about 2".
220 grit sandpaper was wrapped around a BT-20 diameter tube. The underside (removed back area) of the dowel was contour sanded on the sandpaper to fit the curve of the nose cone.

Turning over the dowel to the rounded side, one half of the egg shape was shaped and sanded.
Notice the pencil line showing me the final length of 3/16".

Shape the other side of the egg without removing it from the dowel.
Leave it attached for now, doing as much shaping and sanding as you can.
