Dr. Zooch Vanguard Eagle Build Part 6 Booster Engine Mount

TIP: When using the thin T-20 tubes (BT-20) I always reinforce the weak tube ends with thin CYA.

Apply a thin bead around the edge and smooth with a finger in a plastic bag.

Sand lightly with 400 grit sandpaper.

Here's the finished engine hook end of the booster motor mount. The notched black centering ring is glued 1/2" from the rear of the T-20 tube.

Nothing out of the ordinary here. This was the first set of Dr. Zooch instructions that said to use masking tape to hold the engine hook in place.

Usually black electrical tape is suggested. I chose to use the electrical tape.
